How can I visit the Center for Promotion and Interpretation of Vinho Verde as a group?
Please contact us via e-mail at geral@cipvv.pt or phone us at 258 900 426 and make an appointment. In order to be considered a group there must be at least 10 people and a maximum of 30. You may request a visit with or without an activity.
- What is the difference between a group visit with an activity and one without? Visits with activities are undertaken by the accompaniment of a technical guide whereas the group visits without activities do not require one.
- As a winemaker and/or bottler of Vinho Verde, what must I do to become an associate of the Center for Promotion and Interpretation of Vinho Verde? You must complete the registration form and send it via email or by mail to the Center for Promotion and Interpretation of Vinho Verde. What is the geographic location of the demarcated region of Vinho Verde?The area traditionally known as Entre-Douro-and-Minho, the demarcated region of Vinho Verde, stretches across the northwest of Portugal. The Minho River to the North and the Douro River to the South delimit the area, as well as the Peneda and Gerês, Cabreira and Marão mountain ranges to the East and to the West the Atlantic Ocean. It is now one of the largest and oldest wine regions in the world.
