Wine stewards from the USA visit the Centre for the Interpretation and the Promotion of Vinho Verde On the 7th of September, the Centre for the Interpretation and Promotion of Vinho Verde (CIPVV) received a group of eleven important wine stewards from the United States

On the 7th of September, the Centre for the Interpretation and Promotion of Vinho Verde (CIPVV) received a group of eleven important wine stewards from the United States, during a visit organized by the Vinho Verde Wine Commission (CVRVV).

Since September 4, the CIPVV has accompanied the prestigious wine stewards in the Vinhos Verdes’ region, including visits to several producers in the region.

The following wine stewards were part of the visiting group: Lynn W. Fletcher on behalf of the Guild of Sommeliers Education Foundation ("SommFoundation"); Nicolas Prieto from the hotel Grand Hyatt NY; Roberto Aquilino Sanchez from Greenbrier Resort; Adrienne Voboril of the Wine Experiences Space Summit Street BK; Erik Latshaw from the exclusive gastronomic space WP Test Kitchen; Andrew J. McFetridge of CorkBuzz Wine Bar; Stacey Land of the restaurant chain 1618 Concepts; Tristan Pitre from Spoon & Stable restaurant; Richard Nielsen from The Ritz-Carlton Bacara hotel in Santa Barbara; Bridget Cheslock from the Wine Sellar & Brasserie Bar and Restaurant and David Ransom from The Connected Table restaurant.

In addition to the guided tour and on the way to the CIPVV, the wine stewards had the opportunity to taste different wines from different grape varieties, thus enriching their knowledge about the Vinho Verde, unique in the world.

This event contributed to the promotion and to highlight the presence of the Vinho Verde on the American market.
