On the International Museum Day, which is celebrated on Wednesday, 18th of May, we invite you to visit all the museums and participate in the program.

During the day, the entrance to the Portuguese Toy Museum, Museum of the Third Order and Center for Interpretation and Promotion of Vinho Verde is free, as well as at night from 9 pm to 11 pm.

You can purchase your annual PASS that will allow you admission for the rest of the year 2016 in every museum space as many times as you want. This PASS is a single ticket with a symbolic value to be able to enjoy the best we have to offer.

On 18th of May, at 10:00 pm, there is ... Jazz at the CIPVV – Center for Interpretation and Promotion of Vinho Verde in Ponte de Lima, by the Oporto Jazz School, in a joint organization with the Diogo Bernardes’ Theatre, under the general responsibility of the Municipality of Ponte de Lima.

The combo will feature Cherokee, which is the name of the song that inspires the interpretation of a traditional repertoire of American songbooks, set between the 40s and 50s of the twentieth century. Prepared in an angular approach, it will be in the constant tone transpositions along the harmonic progressions, as well as in the chosen rhythmic metrics. The lineup consists of Inês Pereira on vocals / piano, Eduardo Ferreira on electric guitar, Pedro Barreiros on electric bass and Cecília Costa on drums.

 During every month, there will be jazz at the Center for Interpretation and Promotion of Vinho Verde.
