CIPVV receives visit from a delegation of winemakers and Italian wine producers The Center for the Interpretation and Promotion of Vinho Verde – CIPVV, received on the 10th of March, a group of winemakers from the Abruzzo region, in Italy.
On the 10th of March, the CIPVV had the pleasure of welcoming a group of winemakers and producers from Italy.

This visit provided producers with a unique experience to discover more about the cultural roots of wine production and the traditions that still exist in our territory, as a wine tourism destination.

The Italian visitors were received with enthusiasm to make known the projects that have been developed in the territory – Loureiro do Vale do Lima, Ponte de Lima à Mesa and Lourear a Pevide – followed by a guided tour of the permanent exhibition and a tasting of wines.

During their stay in the village of Ponte de Lima, visitors also participated in the 1st International Gastronomy Symposium, which will certainly contribute to further cementing the cultural ties between Italy and Portugal through the disturbing aromas and comprehensive flavors of our cuisine and wines.
