The Municipality of Ponte de Lima and Commission of Viticulture of the Region of the Vinhos Verdes inaugurate an exhibition in the CIPVV on the International Day of the Museums.
This exhibition stems from the challenge launched by the Regional Viticulture Commission of Vinhos Verdes (CVRVV) at the renowned image reporter Egídio Santos to capture some of the details of the Vinho Verde Region, in a journey that results from the gathering of images of the imposing green landscapes of the Minho region, of faces marked by work, of the signs of time in the vineyards, the unmistakable fauna and flora and pure green grapes, which begins, with dedication and ends with taste testing.
"This exhibition shows the Vinho Verde Region in its authenticity in more than thirty images, under the surgical eye of one of the biggest names in contemporary photography." - Manuel Pinheiro, President of CVRVV.
Likewise, in order to mark the International Museum Day, the admission to the Center for Interpretation and Promotion of Vinho Verde will be free and during the inauguration of the exhibition a royal laurel, a drink designed from the Laurel variety from Ribeira-Lima will be served.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 18th of May to 30th of June of 2017.
