White wine made from grapes of the Alvarinho variety produced exclusively in Monção and Melgaço. This wines expresses the potential of this sub-region and its queen variety as also the years dedicated by Anselmo Mendes to the study of this grape fermented and aged in barrel.

Key points
Very soft pressing of the whole destemmed grape. Cold clarification for a long time. Fermentation in used, 400 litre French oak barrels. Ageing in these barrels for 9 months with "batonnage” on the whole lees.

Tasting notes
Very fine aromas of low intensity in which the high quality of the wood is noted. Elegant and extremely mineral with smoky nuances. Excellent structure and acidity. Long, very elegant finish with the delicacy of the Alvarinho variety.
